Our Family and Friends

Hi! BellaLuna Ragdolls is our hobby cattery, and we are called Glen and Lori Kolb. We live at the base of Old South Mountain, in the beautiful Catoctin Mountain Range in Maryland. We have been married for 30 years, and although we have no human children, we have wonderful nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews on both sides of the family, of whom we are very proud, and we love them all very much. We have also been priviledged to spend time with the children of our friends, and they all hold special places in our hearts as well.

Below are some pictures from around our house, of the kitties of ours and others, and the Sundance Poodle, too! Enjoy!

DINNERTIME AT BELLALUNA

The question is; is it dinnertime yet? BellaLuna kitties wait for Daddy to open the cans. If only we had thumbs!!!

Here are two baby kittens and two wonderful boys, all of whom belong to our dear friends Marie and Doug. Buttercup, on the left, and Skittles on the right came to Danny and Matty and their parents from RaggleDazzle Cattery in Florida. These kittens are so lucky, their Mommy Marie is the best kitty mommy ever, and she is the very best real Mommy, too, and her boys, Danny and Matty, are such wonderful young men. Danny is a freshman at Wake Forest, and Matty is now in high school. Buttercup and Skittles are all grown up, and their big kitty pictures are below ;) The boys and the kitten boys have such a wonderful family and a wonderful life!!

I loved you from the first minute I saw you at Rebecca's house...I always wanted you for my own baby girl. When you had to leave us you took a huge piece of our hearts with you, our darling girl, and we miss you so much. You will always be in our hearts and will always be the gold standard by which all Ragdolls are judged. You brought us so much joy, and so much love. We will always love you and never ever forget you.

Our first and most beautiful breeding girl, Kissykat's StellaBella Cinderella of BellaLuna. StellaBella, or Miss Princess Kissykat's StellaBella Cinderella Mozzerella BellaLuna Kolb, as she is sometimes called (thanks to Marie for the Mozzerella) gave us two beautiful litters of five baby kittens each. She was the best ever Momma, and still loves on her only kitten remaining here, our Blueberry Cupcake (Boo). She is retired and living the good life here with us. We adore her, she has the best personality and is so much fun. She sleeps with us every night, and we thank God and Kathleen Burke of Kissykat for our "Bells".

Jinxie, as we call him, is a large, gorgeous, sweet and loving blue bicolor boy who gave us three lovely litters of kittens. Two of the litters were with our precious StellaBella, and one was with HushabyeRags Melody of BellaLuna, another of our sweet and beautiful girls. He made simply elegant and lovely babies in his image, and we thank God and Rebecca Villalona for him. He is retired now and living the good life with us. His best friend is his girlfriend StellaBella, and they play and sleep together, in our bed.

RaggleDazzle Top Gun of Hushabyerags x HushabyeRags Tinkerbelle

Melody is a stunning, sweet and precious girl who came to us from Kim Neubauer of HushabyeRags via Kathleen Burke of Kissykat. We fell deeply in love with her beauty and charm. She is a perfect example of a seal lynx bicolor, with perfect markings and lovely confirmation. She is spunky and fun, and we love her very much. She gave us one glorious litter of 6 precious baby kittens with Jinxie, and then we allowed her to retire to live with two wonderful owners of ours, Joanne and DeWayne, who adopted two little kitten girls from Stella and Jinxie's first litter. They fell in love with Mellie and took her home to stay, where she is enjoying a wonderful life full of love and happiness, and giving happiness in return.

This most gorgeous, most gentle, most loving girl was in our lives for a very very brief time. She was the most adorable, sweet and precious, perfect in every way little kitten I have ever known. We love her with all of our hearts, and she will always be in our hearts. She went to live with a wonderful young couple who adopted one of Melody's babies also. She passed away in the spring of 2011. Rest in peace, our special angel darling Baby Skye. You gave so much love, and were very very very much loved in return.

Bradie is an adorable and loving young boy who was bred by our dear friend and mentor, Kathleen Burke of Kissykat Ragdolls. He has stunning blue eyes and is a total love bug, giving headbutts for the attention he loves. He comes to us from Kathleen and our good friend Christie Lyons of Keepurrs Ragdolls, from whom we adopted our gorgeous and loving show/alter Jack Jack, and we are so happy he is here. He is even more handsome in person than his pictures, with big strong bones and a gorgeous face and super blue eyes. He loves to purr, and loves to make muffins, and we are over the moon to have him here with us!!! Thanks Kathleen and Christie, for another super beautiful sweet boy.

Bradie is retiring and going to live the good life with Katy and precious kitty friend Kiley!

Here is a list of Special Ragdolls who came through our lives in the spring of 2010. Some have stayed and some have gone on to be adopted by wonderful families who adore them. They will always be in our hearts.

Here is our simply beautiful, gentle and loving Kiley. She had two litters, and we have kept one of her precious babies, Mia Mia Meow, her Mini Me, with us. She has gone home with Katy, to be her baby girl and be spoiled and loved and given lots of attention. We love her dearly, and she will always be in our hearts
