Our Family and Friends

Welcome to the BellaLuna cattery Family. We are located in the beautiful Antietam Valley of Maryland, right at the foot of South Mountain in the Catoctin Mountain Range. Our family consists of myself, Lori, and my husband Glen, and our fabulous furry kids! Glen and I have been married for 27 years. We met in 1981 when Glen had just gotten out of the Navy. We are really blessed, as we both feel that we have married our best friends, and we have grown up together having lots of great adventures along the way, of which BellaLuna cattery is the newest. We have never had children of our own, but we are so privileged to have 6 darling nieces, Melissa, Stephanie, Carrie Ann, Amanda, Lori and Anet, who are all grown up now, and all of whom make us very proud, two super nephews, Bruce and Kevin, and a grand-nephew from Bruce, Christopher, and 4 grand-nieces from Melissa, her step-daughters Danielle, Brittany and Emily and her daughter Julia Lee, and her new baby, our grand-nephew Jacob and new baby grand-niece Isabella Grace from Stephanie. We have also been able to share the lives of the wonderful children of our friends, and we hold them all very dear to our heart.

We are so happy and proud to announce that two of our nieces, Melissa Ann and Stephie ( my sister Karen's daughters) each had their new babies. Missy had a darling new boy, the first one in my family in 4 generations, Jacob. Stephie just had a beautiful little baby girl, Isabella Grace, on May 2nd. Isabella Grace and her Aunt Missy share a birthday! How special is that?

Right now we have 4 beautiful Show/Alter Ragdolls, our domestic shorthair Magic Cat and a 15 month old tiny toy poodle named Janet's Seacret Sundance, whom we call Sundance. We also have our wonderful new breeder kittens. You can visit them on their own pages. I think I must be the luckiest person in the whole world!

Dilly is my constant companion and little fluffy shadow. She has the most tender loving heart in the whole world. She has been super special since she was just a tiny kitten, and whenever I can sneak in a picture of her, I do, because I love her so very very dearly.

StellaBella and Sundance

StellaBella and Sundance, our red Tiny Toy Poodle puppy, (www.HomesteadPoodles.com) are only about 2 weeks apart in age, and they love to share Sundance's beddy-bye in his playpen. They are just the best friends in the whole world.

Dilly Bug had a Dilly bath in early March of 2009 which involved much brushing, washing, rinsing and fluffing, so when she was all dry we thought it would be nice to have a photo session with her. StellaBella couldn't bear that Dilly was the center of attention, and tried to horn into the picture. We think they are both very beautiful, but Dilly Bug would not have enjoyed her photos quite as much with Stella sitting on her head, so Mommy had to restrain the Bella.

Danny and Matt and their darling baby pet kittens . Buttercup and Skittles have the best life possible. They have wonderful boys to play with and a Mommy, my dear friend Marie, who treats them like her third and fourth boys. And that is saying something, as Marie is one of the best Moms I have ever met!! Lucky boys and lucky kittens!!, And lucky Mom Marie and Dad Doug because Danny and Matt are just awesome!!

Sundance Kolb

Here is our brave little red tiny toy poodle, Sundance, on his first day in our boat on Deep Creek Lake in western Maryland. He turned out to love the boat and the water with all of his little poodle heart. Moments after this picture, he showed his bravery and foolishness (when you are a 9 month old poodle these things can be mutual) by jumping into the lake! What a guy!! Luckily Mommy Lori was clutching his leash in her hot little hand!! But Sundance turns out to be a salty dog, he loves the water and loves the boat, and we are so happy!!!

OUR FIRST LITTER OF BEAUTIFUL BELLALUNA KITTENS

Merlot, Lexi, Sybilla, Lilla and Joy. They are the most beautiful darling kittens in the whole world, and filled me with such love and happiness with their good health, zest for life and loving personalities. Their Daddy is Jinxie and their Mommy is StellaBella, and each kitten was more adorable than the next one, and they will always remain in my heart with huge love and gratitude.

JOY AND SYBILLA

Here is a picture of Joy (wearing mittens) and Sybilla (seal ears) resting at their new home. They just love living with Joanne and DeWayne and are growing so fast!!! They came home to BellaLuna for a visit last weekend (1-23-10) and we hardly recognized them. But their Mommy StellaBella knew them right away and groomed and kissed them on and off their whole visit!!

Our precious Miss Melody has been retired and is living the good cat life with her new family, Mommy Joanne and Daddy DeWayne, and two of Stella's girls, Joy and Sibylla. We will always miss her, and keep her forever in our hearts.

Here is our second purrfect girl, Blue Skye. Isn't she the most gorgeous baby cat you have ever seen in your whole life? You have to see her to believe how bunny soft her coat is, how sweet and loving and purry she is, and what an exquisite little lady she is. We are so happy she is ours. She is so friendly and happy and well socialized. Her breeder, Kathleen Burke, raises the best and most beautiful Ragdolls in the whole world, and we are forever grateful to her for another of Kissykats very very best!!!

SKYE HAS BEEN SPAYED AND IS STAYING HERE WITH US TO BE OUR FOREVER PRECIOUS BABY GIRL!!
