Adoption Information

Once kittens are born, they are evaluated by me for the first 8 weeks of life. They may have pictures placed on the kitten page, but they are not available at that time for sale. This is because BellaLuna is my hobby, not a kitten factory, and I am always striving to breed the healthiest and best kittens I can. I will always have first pick of the litter. Always! Then my mentor will have her pick, and then possibly a friend if one is waiting for a kitten. Then I will place those other kittens available in the order of my waiting list as pets. The happiness of my kittens comes first. That means that I take the time to ask prospective owners questions, so that I can help find the kitten most suited for your family and lifestyle. ALL of my kittens are loving, and all are beautiful. So please don't fall into the trap of picking for a color or pattern. These aren't shoes, they are kittens! My greatest hope is that they will have long and healthy lives and provide their owners with years of joy and fun.

Prices for pet kittens : $850.00. This gets you a healthy happy well socialized kitten who has been spayed or neutered and has had their first two vaccinations and two vet visits. They will be trained to use a scratch post and litter box to perfection. They come with a blanket that smells of home and a scratch 'lounger'. They come with food samples and toys. They are registered in CFA and come with registration papers. They are perfection!!!

Show/Alter kittens: $1200-1500. These kittens will come with all of the above as well as perfect show markings, showing rights, and confirmation as close to the standard in perfection as I can get it. They will also come with a contract granting you showing rights and obligating you to show them at least three times in CFA or TICA * ONLY IF THEY LIKE TO SHOW*. I can and will use my best judgment but cannot guarantee that these kittens will either love to show, or place in show.

Show/breeder kittens: MY CURRENT BOY, BRADY, WAS SOLD TO ME WITH RESTRICTIONS. So at this time there will be no breeders available.

ALL BELLALUNA KITTENS COME WITH A NO-DECLAW - NEVER TO BE RESOLD OR GIFTED OR RE-GIFTED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION CONTRACT. IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO ADHERE TO THIS CONTRACT, PLEASE DO NOT EVEN CALL AND ASK ME TO CONSIDER. POSITIVELY NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
